Used as a surface treatment as well as an admixture, Plaster's Pal improves the adhesion of plaster, paint and waterproofing to smooth impervious surfaces, face brick, plaster board, painted surfaces and a number of other building substrates.

Plaster's Pal can be added to the plaster (10% water replacement) to improve the final bond.
On smoother problematic surfaces or if applying thick section of plaster apply the Plaster's Pal by means of a brush or roller. While the Plaster's Pal is still wet apply a thin “slush coat” (1 part cement, 2 parts sand and 10% Plaster's Pal water replacement) by means of a block brush or Terylene machine.
Allow the slush coat to dry and then plaster in the usual manner.
As an admixture, a 10% - 20% water replacement Plaster's Pal improves adhesion, Water resistance, cohesive strength, toughness and flexibility in plaster, cement, tile grouts, tile adhesives and PVA paints.
Note: The use of Plaster's Pal does not render grouts and plasters waterproof. For that application see Flash Harry Hypercrete.
