Description

• A water based Rust preventing Acrylic primer, that offers long term corrosion protection on all iron and steel surfaces.

• If applying to new untreated galvanized iron, the surface should be treated with an acid degreasing primer until a water break-free surface is attained and allow to dry.

• Rusted surfaces should be wire brushed down removing all loose material until a bright steel finish is obtained.

• Do not apply if rain is imminent.

• Do not apply in temperatures less than 10c or more than 40c, so do not apply early mornings or late afternoons.

• Overcoating time @ 25c, a minimum of 4 hours for water-based coatings and 48 hours for solvent based coatings.

• Drying time depends on humidity, air temperature as well as film thickness Coverage 7 – 8m2 per Litre per coat. For best results always apply two coats (2-3 hours between coats)

• Clean up – with water.
